Species

The six species, what they are good at, their abilities and Temperaments.

The six species

Your species is picked by the hatching questions. It sets how fast each stat grows from training (1.00 is average) and your ability.

Herakon (Pincer Horn): Hits hard and takes a beating; slow to move. Dome-backed grazers of Ganymede’s resin forests. A Herakon settles every quarrel by lifting the other one off the ground.

Lucanor (Antler Mandibles): Grabs and holds: steady damage, and it weakens the foe’s next blow. Antlered hunters of Europa’s ice caves. What a Lucanor grips, it does not let go of.

Golothar (Forked Head-Horn): The toughest shell of all; wins long fights. Plated giants that grow slowly beside Io’s warm vents and outlast anything that tries to move them.

Titanox (Shear Jaws): Huge hits, thin defence: ends fights fast, one way or the other. Long, low ambushers of Callisto’s craters. A Titanox’s shear jaws close faster than anything else on the moons.

Vespyr (Paralytic Stinger): Fast and clever: strikes first and freezes prey in place. Winged strikers that ride the storms between moons. One sting leaves prey too stiff to run.

Pyrmex (Venom Stinger): Thinks ahead: venom that burns through any shell. Small, clever swarm-thinkers whose brain glows through a translucent sac. A Pyrmex wins by thinking a move ahead.
